The "What If" Technique

Sometimes I get an idea because I think see something and think
"What if I change one letter, or one word/aspect?" Sometimes an
idea develops from what I thought I saw, at first.

Examples:

I saw this>Generator Land: the cop show character generator
and thought, hey I could make something like that if I changed one letter.

Generator Land: the cup show character generator

I was too late for it to be right next to the inspiration item.
Somebody posted one in between...
But it was close.
====

Generator Land: amputated leg randomizer

It was prompted by misreading this title>
Generator Land: apush leq randomizer

====
Saw this>
Generator Land: The Deeds of the Ancient Ones

wanted to make this>
Generator Land: The Deeds of the Elders

====
The basis is one thing; what develops is another:
from what is, to what could be.
