Recipe For No-Cook Sandwich Spread

No-Cook Sandwich Spread

Can of garbanzo beans (15 oz.)
1 t Dill herb
1 T lemon juice
2 T mayonnaise
1/4 t turmeric powder
1/4 onion (purple looks better), chopped
1 stick celery, chopped
Put the garbanzo beans in a bowl with extra room. Use a fork or dough cutter, or food processor to smash up the garbanzo beans. Mix in the dill, lemon juice, turmeric, and mayonnaise until blended together. Add the onion and celery and stir them in.

I like to add extra lemon juice and dill and more mayonnaise if necessary to get a spreadable consistency.

This sandwich spread is especially nice for hot weather when you don't want to turn on the stove.
