My beloved cousin whom I grew up with just died. He has a wife and children. He had trouble with drugs in the past and moved away from his hometown. Missed everyone and came back. Not one week later, he shows up dead. This past Saturday, a heroin dealer with a grudge enticed and murdered my cousin. He gave him fentanyl instead of heroin and my cousin died alone.
We know it was murder because you don't clean up after yourself after you overdose. The guy took all the evidence and ran.
I believe in God and know my cousin had faith. I know with all my heart he is with Jesus. All my heart.
Just say no.
The sad part is that Monday was his birthday. He died just shy of his 36th bday. Clean and sober up until Saturday night. How sad.
His daughter is my own daughter's age and aspiring to be a Doctor. Gets top honors at her high school. His son is named after him. My cousin was named after his father. So there is a gap in the middle, with two Phillips mourning. One a father, and one a son. It breaks my heart.
This weekend my daughter's father didn't show up to visit her. He also skipped her birthday and Easter and other times he promised to see her. Ever since he learned I was sick, he's abandoned us. But I still love him and would wait for him 100 years. Can you believe that?
This weekend my hair suddenly fell out due to chemo. One of the most horrific experiences of my life.
None of that matters now. My cousin was murdered by an evil heroin dealer.
two most hated words: Meth and Heroin.
They take and take.
