Nice meeting great people

I made a lot of new friends in Pathlight. Due to confidentiality issues, I cannot give their real names, but they are all great people.

There is a student called Bob, who designs websites and loves politics. It has been great fun and pleasure listening to his interests. His intellect level is almost there with Tiger. His only issues in school are listening to the authorities, as he thinks so (not all) teachers are not quite understanding, and he's got some issues with boy-girl relationships. Sounds NT-ish?

There is another guy I know named Dwight. Dwight was a Pathlight student, and went on to ITE next. He is currently teaching PE in Pathlight. He prefers his interests to, say, the alumni group - Pathlight social leisure club, but his teachers want him back in Pathlight due to his generally positive attitude. He even hosted a visiting Harvard student group today in Pathlight!

There's an NT lady who sits in the library every day. She's Desiree, the mother of a son who's in Pathlight's Prepatory Track Programme. She always talks to me when I'm free, and she has hopes that her son will be normal.

Then there is a parent with her two kids from Boston - yes, the famous college town in America. She shared with me her experiences with her older kid, who did well in studies and is an honours student in America. She has to find jobs her, though, and there isn't a suitable college that could fit him. This is why he is currently in an adult vocational program, which is held in the library, where I currently work.

I also got to talk to one of the featured artists on Pathlight's murals, James. James and his aunt (an NT) were friendly and approachable, and they seem happy talking to me. It seems great that James received considerable family support to keep him and his family all happy.

I meet three other young boys on the vocational track. They sell food and serve drinks. I try as much as I can to patronage their stalls, and say hi to them. :D

As for my coworker, Paul, he's the real bookworm. He does book reviews, and they're really extensive. A pity our friends in Pathlight don't read them, because they prefer their Geromino Stiltons and The Magic Key stuff.

(All names above are fictional due to confidentiality reasons.)

There are simply many friends I know in Pathlight, NT or Aspie, who are really interested to live out life as it is.
