Hey everyone,
Just want to give a quick overview of some changes and additions to AspiesCentral.com.
Who's Online addition.
The Who's Online box at the bottom will now display members that have posted within the last 24 hours.
Main Page addition.
The main page (homepage) of the forums will now display the total number of threads and posts for each forum. It will also display the last thread that was posted in and the time of the last post.
Member Photo Albums.
Member photo albums (
click here) are fully active. Members may upload photos with a maximum width/height of 1000x1000 pixels. The maximum file size for each photo is a generous 1 megabyte. You can see my photo album
here. Members have full control over their photo albums and can adjust privacy settings to suit their needs. Members may use their photo albums for whatever they like.
Post and Thread Attachments.
Members may now attach JPEG, PNG and GIF images to posts/threads without the need to upload to a separate image host. Word and Text documents may also be attached at this time. When making a thread or post, simply scroll down the page and click on the "Manage Attachments" button.
Member Blogs.
For those who aren't currently aware, all members of AspiesCentral.com get a free blog. Members may use this blog for whatever they like and entries do not necessarily have to be related to AS/Autism. To manage your blog,
Member Profiles and Social Networking.
All registered members of AspiesCentral.com automatically get their own profile page. Unlike many forums, this profile page is actually worth using. It is also integrated with your photo albums and blog. In the future we aim to add even more features to profiles. To edit your profile page,
click here. To upload a profile photo,
Newly added profile fields include: Gender, Diagnoses Status, Favourite TV Shows, Favourite Books and Favourite Quotes.
If any members have a request for a particular profile field, then put them in this thread and we will consider.
I think that's all for now. As always, feedback and ideas are welcome.
