Fact: I was afraid to be happy
What??? How can this be? How can anyone sabotage their own happiness?
Well I don't know the intricacies of the thing but I realized today I was doing it.
I only saw my mistakes and bad qualities. But if I really want to be fair I have to see all: good and bad.
And even when I am "bad" I still have the right to be happy. I am not saying to ignore the bad, no, correct it we must, but we still deserve to be happy!
I am not a fan of self punishment to expiate sins but unconsciously that is what I was doing. I punished myself when I did something wrong by depriving myself of the right to be happy.
A Human birth is the greatest gift we can receive and we should honour it by being happy.
I can't believe I am learning this only now!!!
I thought I was so intelligent...
‘Life is a learning process. At every moment in life you learn new things. If you have not learned something now, it’s a round circle, you come back to it so that you will have the opportunity to learn it. ’ — Paramahamsa Vishwananda
