I’ve gotten lazy.

  1. I’m not writing in my dream diary upon waking, but waiting till after coffee, & consequently missing a lot. My motivation has been lacking in many but not all areas of my existence lately. I wish I could have a coffee pot by my bed.

I felt that way from the beginning of Autumn until now, after New Years. Holidays do that to me. Lack of motivation is not my norm; Im usually learn, learn, learn. When when I loose my yearning to know more Ill remember this is one of my tells, Im heading for depression. My out of wack thyroid causes me to loose motivation too, so if the coping skills for depression dont work I look at thyroid next. Like you Ive often wished for coffee in bed, preferably brought to me by someone strong and beautiful. :)

Hi there! I'm Bouncing Ball. I know what you mean. My motivation level has been down for a while. I lost a good job because of it. I know that part of the reason for my lack of motivation is that I'm tired of doing what I do and don't know what else I can do. I'm working on this. I also need to reconnect with my friends. I think that will help get me motivated too.

I love coffee. I used to drink several cups of coffee each day but I've cut down to one cup a day each morning. It was hard, but I reduced slowly. I drink a lot of water instead.

I hope you find your motivation soon and can put the coffee pot back.

    Take care!
