How do you feel when something unpredictable is happening? How do you cope with it?

Me personally, I love to stim by thinking of songs and characters that I like, I might hop on this website just to distract myself for a bit ^^
Sometimes I find myself drowning in a pool of information, or I'm not happy because I didn't eat something great or I have to wait for someone else.
There have been many times where I've had to make compromises, sacrifices and wait for others, or quiet myself for others.

Stimming through music (dancing, pacing) comes naturally to me, even if in the past it has been dangerous.
But luckily I've pushed through the dangerous part.
In a way, the mask that you create for yourself around other (even for family) is nice.
It's nice to respect their needs and do things for them.

The main thing is: Always remember to take care of yourself, which I often need a reminder from <3
I also require positive reminders from my family (because of lack of motivation sometimes) to get back on track.
"Keepin' busy is keepin' good. Keep on goin' just like you should. Call me crazy misunderstood, but you won't hear me complain!" (Applejack, My Little Pony Equestria Girls in the song 'Five to Nine')

If it is a large change, or something negative, I tend to lay down or go for a walk to think about it for a while. I can get very anxious in that situation and so try to avoid people, or at least need to put more effort into seeming "normal".

Same. For me when it's negative though sometimes I don't handle it very well, most of the time it actually depends on how I'm feeling physically first. If I've exercised and haven't stayed inside too long I'll be happy, but if the opposite happens I'll be grouchy, pent up and bad mentally. Me too btw... That was what made it worse. When you're in meltdown mode you need to let it out somehow (dancing, singing, stimming, anything!) <3
