Toward understanding how ideas develop/toward understanding how to develop ideas
A. Previously noted: I like to put things next to each other to see what will happen.
B. Previously noted: I like changing one letter in a word or a word in a phrase and
seeing how that alters the outcome.
C. Motivation: I notice these motivating factors.
C.1. Curiosity (what will happen?)
C.2. Irritation, Annoyance
C.3. Because it was there
C.1. Curiosity seems self-explanatory. "How will it work out?"
C.2. Negative affect (Irritation , Annoyance, Dis-satisfaction)
This is a strongly motivating factor in
how some ideas are developed.
I get irritated seeing the same topics chewed on over and over
so I make an item using the topic, either as a parody, or within
an altogether different context.
I get annoyed by topics that are dealt with in what appear to me to be
cheap or inadequate ways.
Negative feeling is reduced by developing content that deals with
topics in what I believe is a fresh way.
C.3. Because it was there---
Taking an easy to use list and working that material into content, as an exercise.
