My video gaming adventures began back in 2008 when I got a Nintendo GameCube for Christmas. I had been a big fan of Animal Crossing on the DS and I wanted to see what the GameCube Animal Crossing was like, I knew the Nintendo Wii was backwards compatible but I was stubborn and I wanted the GameCube, I had always wanted one ever since seeing commercials for it years before, and the GCN was cheaper than the Wii at the time. Finally, that Christmas, my wish came true and I got a GameCube and Animal Crossing.
Fast forward to 2009 and I discovered the playable NES games on Animal Crossing, the first one I got on there being Excitebike. I was immediately fascinated by this old game, and it quickly got me interested in finding out more about the Nintendo Entertainment System console.
Then in Serptember that same year I came across an article celebrating the 20th...birthday of the Nintendo Game Boy and I became rather interested in the old handheld, and that same day I also read an article about the Sinclair ZX Spectrum computer and became somewhat interested in that as well.
Soon enough I was rather obsessed about this older technology, and finally, in January 2010 I managed to find a Game Boy and an NES for a fair price, and ever since then I've been obsessively collecting video games.
