#ActuallyAutistic Speaks So to Speak - World awake, We need each other!

Extract from the video though perhaps not the most important extract.
I need to add more information here in order to be able to post this entry so here I provide some!
I started a campaign for 'A Psychiatrist with Expertise in Autism in Every Hospital (UK)'.
I was hoping for equality of access for all and to help end misdiagnoses and inappropriate diagnoses, detention, treatment, care and after-care.
I was recently discharged from mental health services in spite of a spate of sections in PICUs with the discharge reason on the discharge letter stated as being that I 'require(d) much(!) more specialised input'!!
Unfortunately, and with much difficulty and regret; I had to end the campaign as I do not have many friends, family and supporters/followers, the petition was not doing well (understatement!) and the workload was making me very unwell with a success rate of between zero and one signature for eight hours (straight) work.
I would, however, be extremely eager to sign should another have a similar passion for autism advancement, to help change a situation in which many live miserable lives when they might otherwise thrive (and contribute greatly and prodigously!); and restart a similar campaign to end systemic ableism so that all might get appropriate help when and if they are in need.
We are not known for being particularly proficient at making and maintaining friendship and it is difficult for neurotypicals to relate and empathise with us. I remain hopeful however, that someone with a large following and a similar passion (whether autistic or having personal need or not!) will one day take over where I left off.
I truly believe it to be a worthy, pertinent cause; and for many(!), crucial and critical!
Thank you Quinn! I wish you, your viewers and the Autistamatic Channel all the very best. Advance Autistics! (And Allistics!),
Jim
