Second A BROUHAHA. You wrote me a very kind note recently while I was thrashing around trying vainly to cure my vampire chi.

I wish I could wrap a cover 'round you so the sharp pokey things couldn't prick you, wind some love about you with some favorite words. I don't know yours, so I'm stuck using mine.

Imagine a moment with a purr just outside your ear, the cat's breath sighing warmly against your skin and hair. It's making "biscuits" in your hair, and the little electric tingle feels good. The warm body against your head and shoulder feels like a living wrap. The loveseat you're in smells faintly of lemon, or lavender, with a vaguely astringent edge of patchouli or cedar. Perhaps it's overbrewed tea; what you drank already warms your stomach. Your headache's almost gone and you're not quite sleepy; awake enough to feel how happy the cat is to be with you, and how much those who love you, love you.
