Can I come up with 101 different ideas? Check out my posts to find out! Here's the first idea.

Ever had an idea that you thought would be a great movie? How about a great show? Maybe a great game? How about LOTS of ideas:D?

I'm a pretty creative person hindered by emotional difficulties and problems. I've been coming up with ideas for movies, shows, and games since I was a little kid. I can't remember EVERYTHING I've ever thought up, and by the time I've gotten around to writing something, I've usually come up with several others. Not only that, but I like adjusting and refinishing some ideas to make them better. My magnus opus is the story of Planesquest, involving my seven champions (Descriptions on the "Artists Wanted" page), but I have this unfortunate habit of not sticking too well to large projects:eek:. As a result, what I intended to be a book, and then a book SERIES got stunted, and is now waiting for more chapters.

At any rate, my initial thought was to write one idea a day for a hundred and one days, but that would require not only a lot of creative energy, but also a heaping helping of concentration on a single project. Unfortunately, with work, exercise, the aspect of school coming up, and the discovery of Playbuzz quiz creation, I really doubt I have the concentration for something like that. As such, I'm giving myself a full year, and I still might not make it. But it'll be a fun ride while it lasts. Anyway, here's my first idea in the set. It's an idea for a cartoon series, with thirteen episode descriptions.

Name: The half-cooked adventures of Sir Loin

Type: Animated series

Overall series description: An evil witch kidnaps a beautiful princess and locks her in a tower prison, sending her pet fire-breathing dragon to guard the princess. A hansom knight with a noble steed and steadfast squire races off to rescue the princess, and in doing so, achieve his destiny! Here's the twist: The dragon is way WAY more than a match for the knight.
In the tradition of Coyote and Roadrunner, Sylvester and Tweety, Tom and Jerry, and many other bash-the-predator gag cartoons, the brave-though-arrogant Sir Loin continually tries to get past the dragon (Whether or not he has to actually try to kill the dragon), and comes up with many inventive schemes, only to be knocked on his noble behind by the wily dragon. All the while, the princess is getting bored waiting to be rescued, and the knight's youthful squire may be better hero material.

Characters:

1. Sir Loin of Beef: The titular character, in addition to being arrogant and too brave for his own good, Sir Loin is surprisingly imaginative and inventive. Unfortunately, his attempts to rescue the princess sometimes cause other problems.

2. Princess Patty: Okay, I'll admit it. I came up with that name right on the spot, but what name would YOU give to a love interest for sirloin beef? Anyway, Princess Patty has a face that's always covered by her hair, similar to Ms. Bellum from Powerpuff Girls. In theory, she loves Sir Loin, but she really doesn't care WHO gets her out of the castle.

3. Snickerweeb: Another name I just made up, and much less inspired than the last one. Snickerweeb is the name of the evil witch that kidnapped Princess Patty and locked her in the tower. She did it in order to make sure she marry a wicked nobleman, whom she presumably spends the majority of the series searching for.

4. Rex: Snickerweeb's pet, Rex is a giant fire-breathing dragon that always manages to outsmart Sir Loin. He never speaks human language, but everything he says or wants to say are easily shown.

5. Phil (Sir Phillup): Sir Loin's faithful, noble, and often bored, steed. Like Rex, Phil never speaks but manages to communicate well, though Sir Loin is oblivious to this communication, and his squire is always pointing out what Phil is trying to say.

6. Ralph: Finally, Ralph is Sir Loin's trusty and often exploited squire. More realistic than Sir Loin and often unhappy with the way Sir Loin exploits him, he is nonetheless loyal to Sir Loin in his never-ending quest. The few times when he actually comes up with an idea to help Sir Loin, Sir Loin either ignores him or steals his idea. Ralph is a more likely love interest for Princess Patty.

Episodes:

1. Pilot: Sir Loin of Beef arrives to try and rescue the fair princess from the tower, but is confronted by the huge dragon, Rex. After trying to charge and catapult Rex, and bombard him with arrows, Sir Loin has his squire dress up as a female dragon to lure Rex away. The ploy works, but Sir Loin finds that Princess Patty has taken a break and won't return to the castle for fifteen minutes. By the time she does, Rex is back, spurned by a breakup with a false dragon.

2. The barbecue of beef: Sir Loin is about to try another crazy scheme to try and outwit the dragon, but a messenger comes and tells him that his home kingdom of Beef is being burnt to the ground by a vicious goth named Deviled Ham. Sir Loin must return home immediately, confront this nemesis and save his kingdom, but it's easier said than done when he gets lost on the way. Meanwhile, Rex and Patty get bored without Sir Loin.

3. Patty burns: Sir Loin meets a hansom dreamboat of a knight named Sir Cumference of Circle. More than a rival to Sir Loin, he easily defeats Rex and rescues Patty. After feeling demoralized, Sir Loin ends up challenging Sir Cumference to a duel for Patty's hand in marriage, but Sir Loin ends up losing that too! However, Sir Cumference soon meets another maiden and falls in love with her, and Snickerweeb returns and puts Patty back in her tower prison.

4. Seasoned Beef: Sir Loin tries different attempts to rescue Patty throughout the year, with each attempt representing a different season. In spring, Sir Loin tries to grow a giant beanstalk and get above Rex, but ends up meeting an unfriendly giant at the top of the beanstalk. In Summer, Sir Loin tries to feed Rex continually hotter foods in hopes that he spontaneously combust, but this only makes Rex's fire hotter than ever. In Fall, Sir Loin tries to sneak into the castle under increasingly long nights, but finds that Rex's night vision is actually a lot better than his own. In winter, Sir Loin succeeds in giving Rex a cold, which he hopes will incapacitate him, but ends up being blasted by flaming sneezes!

5. Beware Sir Rosis!: While trying to tunnel underneath Rex and enter the castle, Sir Loin accidentally unearths a coffin containing the former lord of the castle, a zombie named Sir Rosis. He summons a zombie dragon to confront Rex and threatens to kiss Princess Patty before the rising of the sun in order to gain immortality. Sir Loin and Rex must work together to save the day and defeat Sir Rosis.

6. The next Rex: Sir Loin tricks Rex into returning to the kingdom of the dragons on urgent business, but doesn't count on Rex leaving a replacement for himself, nor that said replacement is undeniably more bloodthirsty than Rex himself and out to kill Sir Loin. Sir Loin eventually gets Rex back to his post, but he punishes Sir Loin for tricking him in the first place.

7. Ralph wrecked it: After Ralph accidentally breaks a giant wooden invention Sir Loin invents to try and defeat Rex, Sir Loin reasons that Ralph is behind all of his previous failures and fires Ralph. He then hires a replacement for Ralph, but this replacement intends to kill both Sir Loin and Rex and marry Princess Patty. Ralph figures out the scheme and must save Sir Loin and Rex before its too late.

8. Knightmare: After yet another failed attempt to rescue Princess Patty, Sir Loin realizes, after much prompting, that he has the best chance to defeat Rex if he consults a wizard, so he seeks the legendary Smurlin. However, Smurlin gets angry after Sir Loin makes fun of his name, and Sir Loin ends up getting turned into a horse! In this form, he communicates openly with Phil.

9. Knight for a day: After a heated dispute, Sir Loin decides that he and Ralph should switch jobs for a day, with Sir Loin being Ralph's squire. Sir Loin turns out to be an incompetent squire, while Ralph excels at being a knight. He finds a way to defeat Rex, but ultimately loses his nerve and decides to switch back with Sir Loin at the end of the day. He tells Sir Loin his way to defeat Rex, but Sir Loin ends up messing up again.

10. Spaced out Loin: Sir Loin, angry with having been beaten over and over again by Rex, Sir Loin comes up with a plan to put Rex asleep for thousands of years and then kill Rex in his sleep. He accidentally falls asleep for thousands of years. When he wakes up, it's the distant future, and he's a space knight fighting Rex, who is now a robot dragon. Sir Loin and Rex battle with increasing ferocity, and in the process, accidentally destroy the space castle and the space version of Patty. Sir Loin wakes up and has a different perspective on violence, though he continues his attempts to get by Rex.

11. Witch way in?: Out of options, Sir Loin tries to find Snickerweeb and try and get her to allow him to enter the castle. Snickerweeb sends him out on various quests, secretly only using Sir Loin and not intending to help him at all. However, in Sir Loin's final quest, he accidentally leads to Snickerweeb's castle a beast that runs wild and destroys everything Sir Loin brought back from his other quests, enraging Snickerweeb in the process.

12. The knight is dazed: A medieval therapist comes by and sees the fight between Sir Loin and Rex, and Patty is coincidentally sick of having to spend so much time behind bars. The therapist talks Sir Loin, Rex, and Patty into allowing themselves to be hypnotized and recall their childhoods, leading to humorous "junior" versions of the characters. However, this turns out to be a ploy by the therapist to try and snatch Patty away and marry her, which Ralph and Phil (The only ones NOT hypnotized) stop. Afterward, the attempts at defeating Rex resume, and Sir Loin asks "How long could it take anyway?", leading Ralph to have a vision of the cast as geriatric old people.

13. Ham and egg: Sir Loin's regular exploits take a surprising turn when Rex is made to babysit his niece for the afternoon, who is just an egg. Coincidentally, Sir Loin's nephew, Hammish (Ham for short), is visiting, and aspires to become a real knight just like his uncle (Based on what he's been told). To this end, Ham takes Rex's niece with intent to destroy it, but when the baby dragon girl hatches, the two end up becoming friends. Meanwhile, Sir Loin and Rex get angry at one another, blaming each other for the kids' disappearance.

Well, that's all for tonight. Catch you later!
