I wrote my last blog post here four years ago. At that time, I was working on myself, improving, and exploring new opportunities in my life, and I reached the personal conclusion that I was likely not actually on the spectrum.
Four weird years later--yeah, I'm on the spectrum.
At the time, I associated my weirdness with being an "empath", or having "clairs"--clairaudience, claircognizance, clairsentience. All of that is *sort of* the case still, though it's become much weirder than (and different from) that. That's a whole other story.
The thing I noticed was just how differently my mind seems to work compared to other people. I have a strong tendency to rant on and on about topics I'm interested in, and to explain things in painstaking detail, and to explore tangentially-related topics, and then to circle back to my original story. And the rest of the time, I'm basically mute.
I'm at a weird stage in my life... Moved back to my hometown, with very few friends here. Not dating or interested in a relationship. Looking for a new job.
However, I'm also working on my creative outlet, which I aspire to make a career of--I want to be an author and a philosopher.
And here's the tip of the "weirdness" iceberg that I hinted at--I've become a mystic. I'm in the process of figuring out what to do with this gift... Working on material, and hoping that my creative vision will coalesce into a book.
Not sure how much I'll participate on here, but it's nice to see the site's still here!
