I'm waiting for my Brit Bud duck and my 80's Cube duck to arrive. We ordered them from the Just Ducks website on Saturday. As you may have guessed, I love rubber ducks. I love how you can get them in all kinds of different designs and how each one looks like it has its own unique personality. A bit like us humans really. Though I'm a fan of the classic yellow rubber duck, I feel these unusually designed ducks are trying to get across that it's OK, and that it's cool, to be different. To be what you really are, not what others want you to be, as long as you're not hurting anyone. To be honest, I wish I'd realised this years ago, then I wouldn't have felt I had to try to be someone I wasn't in order to be accepted. But I suppose the important thing is that I've had this epiphany, and I have the utmost respect for everyone who has the guts to stand out from the crowd and be themself. Their strength of character is an inspiration to us all.
